Job Description
Project Management Responsibilities
- Budget & Cost Control: Prepare project cost estimates, manage allocated budgets, process contractor valuations, and track project variations.
- Scheduling & Planning: Develop detailed project execution plans, establish milestone schedules, and ensure construction sequences align with overall objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project hazards, conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between client representatives, design consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
Mechanical & Pipeline Engineering Duties
- Design & Technical Oversight: Review and interpret complex pipeline engineering drawings, isometric diagrams, and P&IDs.
- Material Management: Review material submittals, prepare Material Take-offs (MTO), and oversee the procurement of mechanical equipment and pipeline components.
- Site Execution & Quality Control: Oversee the installation, welding, testing, and commissioning processes of the piping and associated mechanical systems.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all mechanical and pipeline works comply with strict industry standards, client requirements, and regulatory codes.
Operations & Site Administration
- Team Leadership: Direct site management staff, including supervisors, site engineers, and mechanical subcontractors.
- Documentation: Generate and review technical procedures, method statements, inspection test plans, and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Troubleshooting: Provide technical guidance to resolve on-site engineering challenges or structural/mechanical issues during pipeline assembly.
